Bones are hard structures and cannot be bent. But, we can still bend our elbow, knee, etc. How is this possible?

A single bone can not be bent from any of its parts but if two bones are joined to each other through a joint then we may be able to move that set of bones accordingly. Such as the hinge joint, pivotal joint, ball and socket joint, and the pelvic joint.
