Calculate the annual income of the following:

424 shares of Rs 125 each paying 8% dividend.

No. Of shares = 424 

Price of each share = Rs 125 

Therefore, Total investment= Rs ( 125 x 424) = Rs 53,000 

Dividend = 8 % 

Hence Annual Income = Rs `(8 xx 53000)/100`= Rs 4240
