Hot Compaction Method:
The equipment used is similar to that used in cold compaction.

But the process is operated at higher temperature, and pressure. The ceramic powder with the binder are fed into die and pressed at high temperature and pressure into article, followed by sintering and finishing. The temperature can be raised by direct current of induction current.
Uses:
Process is used for making tools such as metal bonded diamond tools, or carbide compacts.
