After buying a book, he travels the same distance in the same time to reach back in the classroom. Find (a) average speed, and (b) average velocity, of the boy.
In which of the following cases of motion, the distance moved and the magnitude of displacement are equal?
State how the velocity-time graph can be used to find The distance travelled by the body in a given time
From the displacement-time graph of a cyclist given below in the Figure, find The displacement from the initial position at the end of 10 s,
Define Displacement.

Which of the following is correct?
An ant moves from one corner of a room diagonally to the opposite corner. If the dimensions of the hall are 8m x 6m, the displacement of the ant is ______.
Assertion: If the displacement of the body is zero, the distance covered by it may not be zero.
Reason: Displacement is a vector & distance is a scalar quantity.
