प्रश्न

Find the 50th term of the sequence:

1n,n+1n,2n+1n,..........

योग

उत्तर

The given sequence is 1n,n+1n,2n+1n,..........

Now,

n+1n-1n=n+1-1n=nn=1

2n+1n-n+1n=2n+1-n-1n=nn=1, etc.

Hence, the given sequence is an A.P. with first term a = 1n and common difference d = 1.

The general term of an A.P. is given by

tn = a + (n – 1)d

t50=1n+(50-1)(1)

= 1n+49

So, the 50th term is 1n+49.
