प्रश्न
Find the slope of the line which passes through the points A(–2, 1) and the origin.
उत्तर
Required line passes through O(0, 0) = (x1, y1) and A(– 2, 1) = (x2, y1) say.
Slope of line OA = `(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)`
= `(1 - 0)/(- 2 - 0)`
= `1/(-2)`
= `(-1)/2`.
