उत्तर

The vector equation of the plane passing through three non-collinear points A(a¯),B(b¯) and C(c¯) is r¯.(AB¯×AC¯)=a¯.(AB¯×AC¯)  ...(1)

Here, a¯=i^+j^+2k^,b¯=2j^+3k^,c¯=4i^+5j^+6k^

AB¯=b¯-a¯

= (2j^+3k^)-(i^+j^+2k^)

= -i^+j^+k^

AC¯=c¯-a¯

= (4i^+5j^+6k^)-(i^+j^+2k^)

= 3i^+4j^+4k^

AB¯×AC¯=|i^j^k^-111344|

= (4-4)i^-(-4-3)j^+(-4-3)k^

= 0i^-7j^+7k^

Now, a¯.(AB¯×AC¯)

= (i^+j^+2k^).(0i^-7j^+7k^)

= (1)(0) − (1)(7) + (2)(7)

= 0 − 7 + 14

∴ From (1), the vector equation of the required plane is r¯.(0i^-7j^+14k^) = −7.
