How are cytons and axons arranged in the spinal cord?

संक्षेप में उत्तर

उत्तर

The spinal cord extends from the medulla of the brain down almost the whole length of the backbone to the end at the second lumbar vertebra and lies within the neural canal of the vertebrae.

The arrangement of white matter (axons) and grey matter (cytons) is the reverse of the brain.

Grey matter ( cytons) and association neurons lie on the inner side and white matter (axons) are present on the outer side.
