प्रश्न

If the area of a rhombus is 112 cm2 and one of its diagonals is 14 cm, find its other diagonal.

योग

उत्तर

Area of rhombus = 112 cm2

One diagonal = 14 cm

Let second diagonal = x

Then, area =`"Product of diagonal"/2`

⇒ `112 =(14xx"x")/2`

⇒ x =`(112xx2)/14=224/14`

⇒ x = 16

∴ Second diagonal = 16 cm
