(ii) reduced price of the article.

(i) Original price of article = ₹ 1800
Reduction = 30%
Reduction in price = 30% of 1800
= `30/100xx1800` = ₹ 540
(ii) Reduced price of the article = Original price – Reduction
= ₹ 1800 – ₹ 540
= ₹ 1260
