उत्तर

The Forest Rights Act (FRA), also known as the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, is one tribal upliftment policy implemented by the Indian government. In order to grant recognition and ownership of forest land to communities that live in forests, such as scheduled tribes and other traditional forest dwellers, the act was passed in 2006. A number of provisions in the Forest Rights Act (FRA) safeguard the rights of communities that live near forests. Among these is the acknowledgement of their entitlement to utilize forest resources for subsistence activities like fishing and grazing. Furthermore acknowledged are their rights to ownership, access to small-scale forest products, and the management and preservation of community forest resources.
