Verification:
Putting x = -1 in the L.H.S.:
L.H.S.: 5(-1 -1) + 2(-1 + 3) + 6
= 5(-2) + 2(2) + 6
= -10 + 4 + 6 = 0 = R.H.S.
Hence, verified.
