x2 + 6x – 10 = 0
Here a = 1, b = 6 and c = –10
Then `x = (-b ± sqrt(b^2 - 4ac))/(2a)`
= `(-(6) +- sqrt((-6)^2 - 4(1)(-10)))/(2(1))`
= `(-6 +- sqrt(76))/2`
= `(-6 +- 2sqrt(19))/2` and `(-6 - 2sqrt(19))/2`
= `-3 + sqrt(19)` and `-3 - sqrt(19)`
