5x – 2 < 3(3 – x)
⇒ 5x – 2 ≤ 9 – 3x
⇒ 5x + 3x ≤ 9 + 2
⇒ 8x ≤ 11

⇒ `x ≤ (11)/(8)`
∵ x ∈ {– 2, – 1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4}
∴ Solution set = {– 2, – 1, 0, 1}
