प्रश्न
The perimeter of a parallelogram is 22 cm . If the longer side measures 6.5 cm what is the measure of the shorter side?
उत्तर
Let the shorter side be x
∴ Perimeter = x + 6.5 + 6.5 + x [sum of all sides]
22 = 2 ( x + 6.5)
11 = x + 6.5
⇒ x = 11- 6.5 = 4.5 cm
∴ Shorter side = 4.5cm
