∴ n(S) = 15
Event A: the ticket shows an even number
A = {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14}
∴ n(A) = 7
∴ `P (A) = (n(A))/(n(S))`
= `7/15`
Hence, the probability that the ticket shows an even number is `7/15`.
