  4. The benefit of tissue culture in fruiting and flowering plants is the incorporation of desirable characters like disease and pest resistance by various biotechnological techniques.
  5. Uniform growth, early maturity and high yields may also be obtained by tissue culture techniques. In case of fruiting plants, it helps produce noncracking fruits of uniform size.
  6. Animal tissue culture is also useful for the growth and maintenance of cell cultures which are further used for stem cell therapy and other medical and research purposes.
