प्रश्न
What is DNA fingerprinting?
संक्षेप में उत्तर
उत्तर
DNA fingerprinting, also known as DNA typing, is a technique that determines the nucleotide sequences of particular areas (VNTRs) of DNA that are unique to each individual. Every person has a distinct DNA fingerprint. A DNA fingerprint is the same for every cell, tissue, and organ of a person, unlike a conventional fingerprint, which occurs only on the fingertips and can be altered by surgery. It does not change by any recognised treatment.
