Supercritical Fluids:- A fluid heated to above the critical temperature and compressed to above critical pressure is known as supercritical fluid.Supercritical carbon dioxide is non-flammable,non toxic and inexpensive.As the solubility of most of the solute changes near the critical point,they can be recovered from the solvent by reducing the pressure/temperature to below critical point.
