प्रश्न
What volume of hydrogen sulphide at STP will burn in oxygen to yield 12.8g suIphurdioxide according to the equation?
2H2S + 3O2 → 2H2O + 2SO2
उत्तर
64g of SO2 will be produced at STP from = 22.4L of H2S
12.8g of SO2 will be produced at STP from= 22.4 x 12.8/64
= 4.48L
So, 4.48L of hydrogen sulphide at STP will burn in oxygen to
yield 12.8g sulphur dioxide.
