उत्तर

Purusharthas are the four primary purposes or objectives of human life according to Hindu philosophy. They set out a framework for living a balanced and fulfilled life. The four purusharthas are:

  1. Dharma (Righteousness and Duty): It refers to the moral principles, ethics, and obligations that people have in life. Dharma promotes both spiritual health and societal order.
  2. Artha (Wealth and Prosperity): This refers to the resources needed for a comfortable existence, material success, and financial stability. Dharma should be maintained when pursuing Artha in an ethical manner.
  3. Kama (Desires and Pleasures): Love, art, and entertainment are examples of emotional, sensory, and bodily pleasures. For a balanced life, Kama must be pursued within the bounds of Dharma.
  4. Moksha (Liberation and Salvation): Moksha, which signifies spiritual freedom from the cycle of birth and death (samsara), is the ultimate aim of existence. Knowledge, devotion, and self-realization are the means by which it is accomplished.
