प्रश्न
10g of NaCl solution is mixed with 17g of silver nitrate solution. Calculate the weight of silver chloride precipitated.
AgNO3 + NaCl → AgCI + NaNO3
उत्तर
Given reaction is :
AgNO3 + NaCl → AgCl + NaNO3
Molecular mass of AgNO3 is 170
Molecular mass of AgCI is 143.5
170g of AgNO3 produces = 143.5g of AgCl
17g of AgNO3 will produce = 143.5 x 17/170 = 14.35g
So, the weight of silver chloride precipitated is 14.35g
