प्रश्न
Explain the following term/concept.
Rematerialization
उत्तर
The process of conversion of electronic holding of securities into physical certificates is called as rematerialization. The client has to submit the Remat Request Form (RRF) to the DP. The DP forwards the RRF to the issuer and the depository. The issuer prints the certificates and sends them to the client and simultaneously confirms the acceptance of remat request to the depository. The depository via the DP debits accounts of the client with those securities.
