= `[d/dx (ax^2 + sin x)](p + q cos x) + (ax^2 + sin x) d/dx (p + q cos x)`
= (2ax + cos x)(p + q cos x) + (ax2 + sin x)(−q sin x)
= (−q sin x) (ax2 + sin x) + (p + q cos x) (2ax + cos x)
