Give the biochemical composition of plasma membrane. How are lipid molecules arranged in the membrane?

The plasma membrane consists of lipids, proteins and carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are attached to proteins or lipids.
Lipids are arranged in bilayers with protein embedded in the matrix. Lipids have one hydrophilic polar head which is present on the outer side and another hydrophobic tail which is present on the inner side of the membrane.
