प्रश्न
How is the current flowing in a conductor changed if the resistance of conductor is doubled keeping the potential difference across it the same?
उत्तर
V = IR or, I = `"V"/"R"`….(i)
If R is doubled,
Then, I' = `"V"/(2"R")` = `"I"/2"`……………(ii)
From (i) and (ii), it is clear that current will be halved.
