2.
Good morning friends! What a lovely morning it is! We have all gathered here today on the occasion of Vanmahotsava. Today I want to draw your attention to the problem of pollution.
Now a day increasing pollution is causing a lot of health problems like respiratory issues, asthma, and cancer.
Especially, the level of pollution is increasing day by day in the metropolitan cities. Pollution is also responsible for global warming. The reasons for pollution include smoke coming out from vehicles, bursting crackers and various other gases let out by industries in the air. The trees are the only resort to overcome or reduce the effects of pollution. Trees are our best friends. Trees, plants, animals, and human beings are all interdependent on each other and live in coexistence with each other. Trees can clean the air, remove toxic airborne particles and gaseous pollutants. Trees help in maintaining the ecological balance in nature. Life is not possible without trees.
I appeal to all of you to take a pledge to plant a sapling every year. We must follow the saying, EACH ONE PLANT ONE to make the planet worth living for future generations.
Thank You.
