उत्तर

Let x be the number

Then, half of the number is `x/2`

According to the question,

`x/2 + 45` = 3x

⇒ `(x + 90)/2` = 3x

⇒ x + 90 = 6x

⇒ x = `90/5` = 18

Hence, the number is 18.
