प्रश्न
If the numbers n – 2, 4n – 1 and 5n + 2 are in A.P., find the value of n.
उत्तर
n – 2, 4n – 1 and 5n + 2 are in A.P.
∴ 2(4n – 1) = n – 2 + 5n + 2
8n – 2 = 6n
⇒ 8n – 6n = 2
⇒ 2n = 1
⇒ `n(2)/(1)`= 1
∴ n = 1.
