\[ \Rightarrow \begin{array}"3x + 8\end{array} = 2\] 

\[ \Rightarrow 3x = 2 - 8\] 

\[ \Rightarrow 3x = - 6\] 

\[ \Rightarrow x = \frac{- 6}{3}\] 

\[ \Rightarrow x = - 2\]

Matrices of different orders can not be subtracted.


If A and B are two matrices of the same order, then A – B = B – A.
