प्रश्न

In ΔABC, point D divides AB in the ratio 5:7, Find: `"AD"/"AB"`

बेरीज

उत्तर

Considering DE || BC

`"AD"/"DB" = (5)/(7)`

∵  AB = AD + DB
⇒ AB
= 5 + 7
= 12

∴ `"AD"/"AB" = (5)/(12)`.
