उत्तर
- The world economic order in which India found itself was based on gross inequalities and exploitation and the requirements of their development made fundamental changes in the world economic order a necessity. It was in these conditions that NAM emerged and shaped itself.
- Two reasons for the loss of its relevance are because of it being an international movement and being the core of India’s foreign policy.
- NAM has become an international movement because it is based on a resolve to democratise the international system. It provides an alternative world to redress the existing inequalities in various countries, especially the newly independent countries.
