2(x2 – 6) = 3(x – 4)
⇒ 2x2 – 12 = 3x – 12
⇒ 2x2 – 3x = 0
⇒ x(2x – 3) = 0
Since x = 0 or 2x – 3 = 0
Then x = 0 or x = `3/2`
