`"p"_1` =  2 bar

`"T"_1 = 27 ^@"C"` = (27 + 273) K = 300 K 

`"p"_2` =  1 bar

`"T"_2` = 273 K

`"d"_2 = ?`

The density (d2) of the gas at STP can be calculated using the equation,

`"d" = ("Mp")/("RT")`

`therefore "d"_1/"d"_2 = (("Mp"_1)/("RT"_1))/(("Mp"_2)/("RT"_2))`

`=> "d"_1/"d"_2 = ("p"_1"T"_2)/("p"_2"T"_1)`

`=> "d"_2 = ("p"_2"T"_1"d"_1)/("p"_1"T"_2)`

`= (1 xx 300 xx 5.46)/(2 xx 273)`

`= 3 " gdm"^(-3)`

Hence, the density of the gas at STP will be 3 g dm–3.
