प्रश्न
The diameter of a circle is 20 cm. Taking π = 3.14, find the circumference and its area.
उत्तर
Diameter of circle (d) = 20 cm
∴ Circumference = dπ = 20 × 3.14 = 62.8 cm
Radius (r) = `"d"/2` = 10 cm
∴ Area of a circle = πr2
= 3.14 × 10 × 10 = 314 cm2
