प्रश्न
The length of a rectangle is two times its width. The perimeter of the rectangle is 180 cm. Find the dimensions of the rectangle.
उत्तर
Let the width of rectangle be x cm.
So, the length of rectangle = 2x.
Perimeter of rectangle = 180 cm
⇒ 2(2x + x) = 180
⇒ 3x = `180/2` = 90
⇒ x = `90/3` = 30
Thus, width of rectangle = 30 cm
And length of rectangle = 2 × 30 = 60 cm.
