Inner surface area of a spherical shell = 324π cm2

Volume of the material required = Volume of the hollow hemisphere 

= 43π(R3-r3)cm3

= 43×227(123-93)cm3

= 43×227(1728-729)cm3

= 43×227×999

= 4×22×3337

= 4186.29 cm

Volume of the material required = 4186.29 cm
