Human rights are those freedoms which should be available to all persons, irrespective of their religion, race, caste, sex, or nationality. This includes the Right to Life, Right to Equality, Right to Education etc. According to the Charter of the United Nations, the objective of the human rights is to ‘reaffirm faith and beliefs in fundamental human rights’. The Charter divides human rights into civil rights, political rights, economic rights, social rights and cultural rights.
