पर्याय

  • `2/5`

  • `11/25`

  • `12/25`

  • `13/25`

MCQ

उत्तर

`12/25`

Explanation:

Total number of tickets = 25

Let E be the event of getting a multiple of 3 or 5.

Then,

Multiples of 3 are 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24.

Multiples of 5 are 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25.

Number of favourable outcomes = ( 8 + 5 − 1) = 12

∴ P (getting a multiple of 3 or 5 )  = P (E) = `12/25`
