प्रश्न
To what would you attribute the failure of Muhammad bin Tughlaq’s schemes – personal character or prevailing conditions? Give reasons for your answer.
उत्तर
Both personal character and prevailing conditions were responsible for the failure of Muhammad bin Tughlaq. On the personal side, he lacked practical sense and was not able to predict things whereas, on the other side, conditions prevailing were also not favourable. People were backward and did not respond to new ideas and radical reforms.
