प्रश्न
Two supplementary angles are in the ratio 7 : 5. Find the angles.
उत्तर
Ratio between two supplementary angles are 7 : 5
∴ Sum of ratios = 7 + 5 = 12
But sum of two supplementary angles = 180°
∴ First angle = `180^circ xx 7/12 = 15^circ xx 7 = 105^circ`
and second angle = `(180^circ xx 5)/12 = 15^circ xx 5 = 75^circ`
∴ Two supplementary angles are 105° and 75°
