- SEBI can ask the stock exchange to maintain the prescribed documents and records.
- SEBI may ask stock exchange or any member to furnish information and explanation concerning its affairs.
- SEBI can approve and amend bye-laws of the stock exchange.
- It may call periodical returns from a stock exchange.
- SEBI can license dealers in securities in some areas.
- It can ask a public company to list its shares.
