What is meant by the term ‘Human Rights’?

Human Rights are those rights which every human being is entitled to enjoy. They are fundamental to one’s welfare and are derived from the inherent dignity of human being. The French declaration of the rights of man 1789 described it as ‘Liberty, Equality and Fraternity’. Thus the inalienable rights of human beings are life, liberty and happiness.
