प्रश्न
When sound is reflected from a distant object, an echo is produced. Let the distance between the reflecting surface and the source of sound remain the same. Do you hear an echo sound on a hotter day? Justify your answer.
उत्तर
Echo of sound is heard with less velocity and intensity on a hotter day. Because the velocity of sound is directly proportional to the temperature of the air. On a hotter day temperature will be higher so the velocity of sound will be changed by higher values.
