प्रश्न

Which of the following would weigh most?

पर्याय

  • 1 mole of H2O

  • 1 mole of CO2

  • 1 mole of NH3

  • 1 mole of CO

MCQ

उत्तर

1 mole of CO2

Explanation:

Molecular mass of H2O = (1 x 2) + 16 = 18 g

Molecular mass of CO2 = 12 + (2 x 16) = 44 g

Molecular mass of NH= 14 + (3 x 1) = 17 g

Molecular mass of CO = 12 + 16 = 28 g

∴ 1 mole of CO2 having maximum molecular mass will weigh more.
