Let’s its nth term be 88
Then, Tn = 88
⇒ a + (n-1) d = 88
⇒ 3+ (n-1) × 5 = 88
⇒ 5n - 2 = 88
⇒ 5n = 90
⇒ n = 18
Hence, the 18th term of the given AP is 88.
