Question
A rectangular park has length = `23 2/3` m and breadth = `16 2/3` m. Find the area?
Solution
Length of rectangular park = `23 2/5 "m" = 117/5 "m"`
Breadth of rectangular park = `16 2/3 "m" = 50/3 "m"`
∴ Area of the park = l × b
`= 117/5 xx 50/3`
= 39 × 10 = 390 m2
