Wednesday
Dear Diary,
Today, I'm ecstatic since my wish to travel the bus has come true. What an exciting journey that was! I took in all the fascinating sights outside the window. To have a better look at the canal, the palm trees, the mountains, and the green fields, I got up from my seat. The way the trees appeared to be rushing both in my direction and away from me at the same time was just beautiful. The bus passed the train station, and as it approached the main street, I could see all the colourful stores and dazzling racks of clothing and other goods. A large audience had gathered. But a young cow was what truly made me laugh and provided me the most pleasure. With her tail up high in the air, it was moving extremely quickly in the middle of the road in front of the bus. I laughed nonstop till tears formed in my eyes. But upon returning, it was extremely upsetting to discover the same young calf lying dead by the side of the road. It was a gloomy sight. What was once so lovely and endearing had degenerated into a horrifying sight. I was riveted to my seat till the bus arrived in the village because the image of the dead cow kept coming back to me. I now see that going to the town increased my knowledge and increased my wisdom.
