Briefly discuss the role of the students in the rise of the Naxal Movement in Bengal.

1. The philosophy, which gained popularity because of Charu Majumdar's writings, especially the Historic Eight Documents, which served as the foundation for Naxalite ideology, attracted many urban leaders.
2. Almost every Naxalite group can trace their roots to the CPI (ML).
3. The Naxalites emerged as a powerful force within the radical wings of the Calcutta student movement around 1971. After school, students joined the Naxalites.
4. To attract more students to his organisation, Majumdar announced that a revolutionary battle would, from now on, happen everywhere and on its initiative rather than just in rural regions as it had in the past.
5. Majumdar issued an order known as the "annihilation line,which said that members of the Naxalites should kill specific "class enemies, including landowners, business owners, university professors, police officers, right-wing politicians, and others.
