Calculate the gyromagnetic ratio of electrons.

(given e = 1.6 × 10-19 C, mc = 9.1 × 10-31 kg)

Given: e = 1.6 × 10-19 C, me = 9.1 × 10-31 kg 

To find: Gyromagnetic ratio 

Formula:

Gyromagnetic ratio = `"e"/(2"m"_"e")`

Calculation:

From formula, 

Gyromagnetic ratio = `(1.6 × 10^-19)/(2 xx 9.1 × 10^-31)` 

= `(8 xx 10^-20)/(9.1 xx 10^-31)`

= `0.88 × 10^{-20 + 31}`

= 0.88 × 1011 

= 8.8 × 1010 Ckg-1
